Nicknamed "Il Leone" by Ferrari's adoring Tifosi for his heart and bravery, and "Red 5" for his famous race number, Mansell was the only simultaneous world champion in two series - Formula 1 in 1992 and Indycar in 1993. He raced for Williams, Ferrari, Lotus and McLaren across his career, and sports the most famous mustache in Formula 1.
